Date: 2005-04-26 02:51 pm (UTC)Knowledge = power. (Bacon)
Power = Work / Time. (Physics)
Power = Work / Money
Knowledge = Work / Money
Money = Work / Knowledge
Thus, the more you know, the harder you have to work to make even a fraction of what they're paying your dumbass boss.
Knowledge is power.
Power corrupts.
Study hard.
Be evil!
I'll see that mathematical geekiness, and I'll raise...
Date: 2005-04-26 06:58 pm (UTC)(1) Evil is negative. So the square root of evil is imaginary, and thus money is imaginary. (I assume we're all on board with this conclusion; I know that, as a grad student, most of _my_ money is imaginary. :> )
(2) Evil is certainly real. However, girls are obviously complex (i.e., having both a real part and an imaginary part).
Since evil is also negative (see (1)), and since complex values cannot be said to be simply "negative" or "positive" (any more than (-2,3) can), there must be an error in the proof that girls are evil. I conclude that it's more complicated than that. ;>
