Post-Duckon Open Thread

Well, that was fun. (And the driving was much better than with To Be Continued.) Concert went well, filking good, sleep minimal, hotel food tolerable. As per usual, my biggest regrets involve not spending enough -- or any -- time with some friends. I never did hook up with Nick Pollatta, dammit, and never really got to the dealer's room. But I spent a few minutes with Jan, and RJ, and Mew, and Peter B., and Barry, and Kitten, and Luke, and a fair amount of time with Lee....

I have a few projects I must finish this week, so I'm not sure how much I'll post. Meantime, please feel free to use this as an open thread. Have fun, play nice.

I was at To Be Continued for a little while.
I didn't get to Duckon because hubby just got out of the hospital.

Maybe we'll see each other sometime.

I was at Duckon, heard your concert. And though I've heard the song before, I can't get that damned badger song out of my head!

Gotta take off the badger pajamas, and head off to the filker breakfast. There's probably a song in that, but damn, I'm tired...

It was the first time I heard you live. It was a great show, except for the person sitting behind me that was talking throughout your 3pm set.

If it jogs your memory, I was the guy in the Luke Ski shirt that bought one of every album you had for sale.

Highlights for me was the open filk, when you did Sweet Transvestite and just made up a song when someone said "Last Dance at the End of Time".

I do indeed remember, and thanks very much! (Sorry about the talker. Sigh.) Yeah, that open filk was weird, huh? Fun, though. (As I completely forgot every song I knew -- I've really gotta organize the lyrics....)
