First, Le Building. Slightly not work safe.

Second, Family Guy fans will be pleased at a direct-to-DVD movie coming out Sept. 27 -- Family Guy Presents Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story!.

Third, on the lower end of things, there are rumors of live-action versions of everything from The Jetsons to The Smurfs (with Jeff Goldblum as Gargamel!?)... but the one that blisters my brain is... Underdog.

Underdog?

UNDERDOG.

I'm torn between excitedly amused, because I loved that cartoon, and mentally freaked, because I loved that cartoon.

Actually, I always thought Bob Saget would have made a perfect George Jetson. But I could be wrong.

I'm awfully tempted to comment about Bob Saget being ideal for the role because he's 2-dimensional, but I don't know him that well. Danny Tanner and his (remarkably filthy) stand-up routines notwithstanding.

Surprisingly, he tells one of the better adaptions of the "Aristocrats" joke.

Actually, if anyone out there knows anything about how to write a script treatment, I've had ideas for a live-action (or LA/CG crossover) "Mr. Peabody
" movie for some time now.

I'm still waiting for a live action version of Star Wars Episode III myself.

Well, the live action Thunderbirds looked good, even if the story did not quite live up to what I expected. But how the heck can do you live action Underdog?? If they said Krypto, that I could believe since he is close enought to a real dog. But Underdog, Polly, Simon Bar Sinister and his henchman, and Riff Raff do look real enough to be done live, unless they are CGI and the rest is live action.
