For the past two years, Disneyland's Space Mountain has been closed for rehab. As of next Friday, it's open again. Check out the upgrades. (Spoilers all over the place.)

I'm reliably informed that the "soft opening" for lucky park guests who happened to be there was a couple of days ago. However, I think I will wait for a couple of weeks for them to get the bugs out. There =will= be bugs, there always are. Heck, I rode Space Mountain on its original opening weekend and it broke down twice while I was on it. Mind you, it was really interesting to see the room with the worklights on, but it really broke the mood. We all just =had= to go back around and get on line and ride it again, just to get the real experience! [grin]

So let this list know when you will be out west to ride the ride and you will be feted like visiting royalty, okay?

I really liked that surf-rock version of Saint-Saens "The Aquarium".

Ah well, at least I still have it on CD.
