Released today. (The official site is all Flash, without a direct link.) Fair warning: The set is not as complete as it might be, and one of the biggies is not there: From Muppet Central, we learn that several musical numbers could not be licensed, including Vincent Price singing "You've Got A Friend".

Hrm...I have that episode on the Time Life Muppet Show DVDs that came out a few years back. I'll have to see if that song's in it or not.

I have the Time Life videos too.
Yes it was.
Scary how those lyrics lend themselves to reinterpretation.
"You just call out my name, and you know, whereever I am, I'll come running..." <brr>

We have all the lastest "Time-Life" DVDs, which are GREAT, but I will be zipping over to pick up my Season 1 set, cause I must have all things Muppets.

I was just looking at my Jim Henson autographed "Dark Crystal" promo book the other day *SIGH*

Gee, guess I'll have to copy my original videos to DVD after all.

Just back from shopping, with the set at the top of the list. Unwrapping and into the player next!

What about going for this (https://www.empiricalfilm.com/products.php?iProductID=308&iCollectionID=77) and getting them all at once, unedited?

Yow! Lovely, and oh, to be able to lay it out. Maybe we'll save the scratch so that by the time the Season 2 set comes out, this one will be ours. Thanks!

Well we've watched the first seven episodes now, so nice to have them all in the pipeline. Cause while the Time-Life ones are great, certainly the highlight episodes, they all have their gems. Also watching them in aired order (if not production order) it fun to see the evolution of the characters, piggy being the greatest of the 'come out of the background' stars.

Thanks for the news! It's a shame about the license, though; guess we'll be keeping those other DVDs after all.
