Friday I'll be down at ConGlomeration in Louisville, KY. Should be a good time. I will have at least two sets -- one Friday evening, time TBA but likely 10:30 pm, and one Saturday, I believe at 1:00 pm. I may not do the open filk Friday, being just post-drive and post-concert -- although never say never. :) But I absolutely will be at the open filk Saturday. Come on up and say hi!

In case it got lost in the shuffle of your Friend's List, I put up a concert for download last week, Homecoming: MarCon 2005. Pretty good set. I will not be burning this one to CD-R -- download only, folks.

I'll check in now and then from the con and see how you all is. Have a great weekend!

Sorry I'll miss out on the con, but Saturday is the big four-oh for me, and my family has my weekend completely booked with the mourning of the passing of my youth.

But at least Homecoming is something I can spend some of my birthday money on! :)

Here's a badger, there's a badger,
A pajama-wearing badger,
Badger badger badger badger,
Mushroom, mushroom, snake.

I was going filking,
And the dog was dead,
I was making up the songs
Off my topmost head,
Logged on my computer,
Saw a furry beast,
Now he's dancing in my dreams
Till I am deceased.

Darn you! Darn you to heck!

I should really know better than to read your LJ when I'm tired. Now all four songs — Badger³, Badger Pajamas, The Llama Song, and your filk of The Llama Song — are stuck in my head, fighting it out, much like in Bach's "Two Unfriendly Groups of Instruments."

Ouch. Guess I should have seen that coming, huh?

My wife looked at me and said, "Well, you asked for it..."

I went a couple of times back when it was still RiverCon, their last one was our honeymoon. Maybe one of these years we'll manage to get there again.

BTW Love the Llama Song filk! I recognized the tune before I saw the previous post mentioning llamas.

Speaking of the new download concert.... When you are going to put a full version of "one ring" up? I liked the clip that was on the Marcon concert.
Marcon is currently on my traveling mp3 CD and not likely to get bumped anytime soon.

Also, will you have CDs available at Dragoncon of the 2nd 24h project? (A
friend of mine is going, but I can place an order via him.)

I think I've only sang the whole thing once; it's actually pretty boring, and I'm not sure it's worth making funnier. The joke gets delivered with the first chorus, y'know?

If everything works out right, I will have at least CD-Rs of the full, complete, with-female-vocals-and-everything 24HCD2 at Dragon*Con. Cross your fingers.
