Details haven't been announced yet, but the British Broadcasting Company is going to have a new service allowing users to download original radio and television programs for up to a week after broadcast. Can you say "lots of subscriptions" and "new servers"?

The BBC is the most trusted broadcast service in the world. If they can offer something that looks and sounds decent to lower-bandwidth customers, they could really change things.

Besides there's something about holding a CD/DVD/tape whatever IN YOUR HOT LITTLE PAW that satisfies an inner need.....
