Was down on site as they were getting ready. QUITE the event! (Although that suspicious "problem" on the DC end of the Northwest line of Amtrak, the one that was suddenly fixed as soon as protesters left the station was so blatent.)
There was, amusingly, a lot of crossover between the march and the National Book Festival. Lot of marchers coming through, some stopping to stay and pick up stuff - metro was full of people in "Stop Bush!" shirts carrying Festival bags.
My favorite slogan of the day - a photo of Bush labelled "Like a rock - only dumber."
