Thanks to Steve Jackson's Daily Illuminator for pointing out this excellent site analyzing so many of the linguistic transgressions inflicted upon us all by those who prove that the Eggcorn doesn't fall far from the tree.

That was the one that surprised me the most, of those I've seen on the site so far. It's an interesting statement on the use of language, certainly.

They got one of my biggest pet peeves: "for all intensive purposes". In a way, it makes sense, if you figure there's something that can actually be defined as an intensive purpose, but what exactly might that be?
