Red Six, Going Home

From Ain't It Cool News, and further at starwars.com: William Hootkins passed away earlier this week from pancreatic cancer at the age of 58. While he actually had a pretty extensive resume in movies, TV, and video games, he's best known as Porkins, Red Six, in the first Battle of the Death Star in the original Star Wars. I even wrote a song about him once.

He played Harvey Bullock in Tim Burton's "Batman" too, if I remember.

Bummer. Hope his family's doing okay.

Eckhardt, a Bullock look-and-feel except for the fact that Harvey is, in fact, a good guy. And he was the government official who assured Indy at the end of Raiders that the Ark was in the hands of "... Top. Men."
