Girls Go Tech

I've been meaning to point this one out for awhile, particularly to allisona and ohiblather from Urban Tapestry. The Girl Scouts and the Ad Council have a way-cool campaign, Girls Go Tech, specifically to promote math and science education for young girls. Some of the ads are frickin' adorable, and I'd love to hear UT's version of their "Twinkle Twinkle".

"Blue Sky" rings familiar -- someone must have had a microphone on me as a wee childie. My dad still tells the story of the time when he slipped and cut a finger, I [aged 8] went racing off and he thought, how nice, she's getting me a band-aid, but I showed up with a microscope slide.

Other flaws in the educational system sidelined me out of the math/science track in college... motivation was never an issue. But that's a rant for another time.
