Okay, so, I'm definitely going to be at CapriCon Feb 10-12. And then I'm heading west to visit family. And then I'm heading east to visit family. And then I'm shlepping up to MarsCon March 3-5. (And Bow Down to Rich Brown. This is how ya use the stuff from a press kit. :)

That in-between time is interesting. Because I'm simply not usually out towards Florida, and hardly ever near Phoenix, let alone on the road to either of them.

So, if you're along the Chicago-to-Phoenix or Phoenix-to-Florida driving routes -- especially if you're in either suburban Phoenix or northeastern Florida -- and you've considered asking if I'd be willing to come all that way for a house concert, now's not a bad time. :)

If you're coming down from Phoenix to Florida via I-10, Houston is definitely on your route. At the very least you've got crash space here if you need it, and we might discuss a house concert as well. See you at GAFilk?

Dunno precisely when I'm gonna hit, but I'm not likely to stay long after the Dementia Smackdown on Sunday because it's a long haul back home. Let's plan for the con itself -- looks like Saturday, any time before my concert, will be good -- and work it from there.

Don't want to force people to choose that drastically. How big a room? Same as last time? I won't probably be up there yet (Tony and I were looking to rent up there starting in March or April) but I'll try to pass the word to Orlando filkers (and if a house concert gets set up, may try to find a way to come up for it)

True, not far at all, especially the way I drive sometimes. Two and a half hours to get to Disney World from Ft Lauderdale. My wife was amazed.......as soon as she started to breathe again! Tampa is around 4 hours which is a nice leisurely ride in my car.

I live in the Tucson area but since you don't know me its kinda silly to ask. :) I remember hearing you at a PhilCon many years ago and have enjoyed your music for years. I hope you have a great vacation. :)
