FenCon is a lot of fun. If it was only a week later, we could get there every year - unfortunately, we won't make it this year.

I don't think I'll ever get in that space, although being invited is indeed lovely. But I'm already scheduled for MarsCon in Bloomington, MN that weekend.

Austin is just 3 hours away from Dallas so it should be easy enough for you guys to drive north and join the party (and see all the other great filkers at FenCon while you're there).

As a member of the FenCon Executive Committee, I'd like to invite you and all interested Austinites to come up to FenCon this year to see Heather Alexander and next year to see Tom.

FYI, there were 46 people in the Filk Circle on Saturday night at FenCon 2005.

Oh, and FenCon 2006 features Alan Dean Foster, GoH; Jim Butcher, Toastmaster; Darrell K. Sweet, Artist GoH; and Special Guest Lawrence Watt-Evans who is running the Writers Workshop.
