Coming Soon is reporting that the Dark Crystal sequel, The Power of the Dark Crystal, will supposedly now be directed by Genndy Tartakovsky.

I'm so good with that.

(Note: The "animation" tag on this entry is because Genndy is known as an animation director. The movie is going to be made with Muppet tech.)

How about a coming-in-2007 "Fraggle Rock: The Movie" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0481649/) directed by Brian Henson?

You mean the guy who sold out his father's legacy of innovative storytelling and inspirational entertainment for children and adults alike to to a Corporate Conglomerate founded on providing bland, uninspired, cookie-cutter tripe to a brain-dead consumer market?

(Spits on the ground and watches it sizzle and smoke)

Yeah, the guy that cancelled the deal that his father had made with that conglomerate when he took over because the CEO of said conglomerate tried to take advantage of a family in mourning over the greatest man that lived in the 20th Century and dangled the deal in front of that conglomerate until he'd received both an apology and a better deal and then only took the deal anyway because finanacial concerns would have killed his father's legacy wholesale... that guy

I remember seeing this on the IMDB. It will either rock the universe or send every child of the 80s into a killing rage. *crosses fingers for the first*

I keep thinking about the original, ever since I became the chamberlain for my SCA Barony. I can't help but think I was happier with the title Lady in Waiting than the image of that creature, and it's high pitched whine.
