I don't have anyone and the only reason I'm getting take out tonight instead of microwave food is because my microwave is on the desk in the office so mom can start painting the kitchen tomorrow. Oh, and mom and dad won't be home tonight so I can't go sponge food off of them. That will happen tomorrow.

No someone special. I tolerate the day without too much wincing. It comes a little while after my birthday and I generally spend most of my occasion-hatred for that wretched event. I don't have the energy to work up more than a "bleh" for this nonsense.

I did like the shirts that say "Cupid's Aim Sucks" though.

I am taking my gal out for a night on the town. We are going out to dinner and then off to see the Broadway Musical "WICKED." I am curious to see how they have made this story family friendly (I read the book), and what it sounds like.

Sent my girl a card, a CD filled with all sorts of geekiness, a Dark Conspiracy book by Michael Stackpole, and the Roger Zelazny commemoration book "Forever After" (Zelazny's her favorite author).

It woulda gotten there early, but the CD went missing and the package has been delayed until some time next week probably. Grrrr!
