Yeah I just read that in trektone's journal. Argh! I really loved Fledgling. I'd have liked to have read a lot more books by her and always hoped somehow I'd meet her someday. Very sad news.
I'm with you. I've been a fan of hers for a while, and I was crushed by the news. I've met a LOT of authors in my life, but she was one that I would give anything to sit and talk with.
