Glenn Greenwald deservedly kicks Kevin Drum's ass, as well as those of the cowardly Dem senators who didn't stand with Russ Feingold. Greenwald's becoming a must-read.

That's the trouble with the current bunch, they believe that the poll numbers will skyrocket if they get tarred with the same Republican brush. What they don't realize is that if he does get a bump in the approval rating, it will be mostly by those that would support him anyway and feel he's a good president (warning: My opinion only) while the ones that know he broke the law are liable to believe more strongly that he did so.


Spineless hacks. Let's hope Harold Ford isn't one of those.
