MidSouthCon Schedule

With extraordinary reluctance, I'm leaving TES4: Oblivion for a few days (it won't run on the laptop, which let me tell you is a good thing, 'cause I'd likely try to play while I was driving), and heading off to MidSouthCon in Memphis. Here's hoping the weather isn't too bad, because I've been in the South in winter before, and, guys, you're wonderful and your cities are beautiful, but I've watched your civilization grind to a halt from a snowfall that wouldn't take thirty seconds to brush off of my car.

Anyway. Here's what it looks like:

Friday

• 7-8 pm -- Look at Me: Filk Performance and Presentation
• 8-9 pm -- Opening Ceremonies
• 9-10 pm -- 'Meet the Guests' in the Con Suite
• 11 pm - ?? -- open filking

Saturday

• noon-1 pm -- Everything you know about Filk is Wrong
• 2-4 pm -- Filk Concert
• 5-7 pm -- banquet
• 11 pm - ?? -- open filking

Sunday

• 11 am-noon -- Kaffeklatch

So, anybody gonna be there...?

*boingboing* Filking AND HackMaster games! Gonna be a fun, sleepless weekend. Looking forward to it ever so much.

You forgot to mention the SHEET OF ICE that's usually under it. Will try to make it, but only if I can convince Himself to drive. The Knee is Not Happy.

I won't be there (living near Boston makes attending most more than one mid-west con per year cost prohibative). But this panel title caught my eye: Everything you know about Filk is Wrong. I'd be interested in hearing what came up in it after the con is over. And I am sure that I am not the only one who may be interested here.
