Stanislaw Lem Passes Away

Stanislaw Lem, author of Solaris and a bunch of other groundbreaking novels and short stories, has passed away at the age of 84.

Arlington High School (in Washington) didn't have the most up to date library. During my years there between '84 and '88 I was a librarian's aide every year. I also pretty much devoured the Sci Fi section (Which was pretty sizable).

Trurl and Klapaucius, Pirx the Pilot were friends of mine. This one doesn't hurt as bad as when Isaac Asimov left us, but it hurts in a different color.
