Tomorrow and Friday we'll do some of the good ones. :)

The entire Twisted Sister Christmas album is awesome - especially if you like the "cross-dressing" metal monsters :)

I see you linked to the animated version. I prefer the extended live-action version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YV-SpT69IZ8&feature=channel

Agreed. Everyone forgets that Dee and the guys are fairly normal family guys outside the band, and their Christmas album is really respectful of the source material.

Alas, no YouTubage of these exists, but you might enjoy the songs on 12 Yats of Christmas by Benny Grunch and the Bunch. You can find clips here (http://www.amazon.com/12-Yats-Christmas-Tenth-Annivoisery/dp/B00000HX7K).

What's wrong with Dominick? My family loves it and we're all goombahs!

I like The 12 Days of Christmas by Straight No Chaser (on YouTube.) It's accapella and every time I hear it, I recognize a different holiday tune from Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer to I had a little dreidel. And they even get in a bit of Men at Work (I've forgotten the name of the song that mentions the Serengetti, but the 12 days scans to that tune. And, yes, they do have someone who can sing in that falsetto register.) Definitely a holiday pleasure for me.

"Africa" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Africa_%28Toto_song%29) is actually a song by Toto, not Men At Work. It's a song frequently performed by a capella groups, in my experience. (And yes, SNC's "12 Days" is one of my favorites, too.)

It's one of my major failings, I'm afraid. I recognize the song but forget the band and the title of the song. I'm glad there are people who can remember these things. They are needed in my world.

Dominick is part of my childhood. We grew up listening to Lou Monte (and if you think Dominick is fun, look up Pepino the Italian Mouse and Pepino's Friend, Pasquale. Two songs. Pasquale is the SEQUEL!)

My friends say it explains a great deal about me....
