My favorite, of course, is the Milky Way Chocolate Bunny; the Nutrition Facts label reads, "Serving Size: 1 Bunny". It's also a great time to get Ghirardelli Squares at 50-75% off. What do you intend to stock up on tomorrow?

If we were still in New Orleans, we'd go stock up on Elmer's Gold Brick Eggs and Elmer's Marshmallow Eggs. (Fortunately, my mother-in-law sent us a care package, so we're pretty well fixed in that regard.) So all that's really left to stock up on is Reese's Peanut Butter Eggs.

I haven't tried the Milky Way Chocolat Bunny, though - I might have to see about picking up one of those. :-)

Scharffen Berger dark chocolate bunny (62%). I should be able to pick one up on sale at Peet's Coffee and Tea.

Cadbury Cream Eggs and whatever else I can get on my hands that has chocolate and peanut butter in it.

And I've discovered that Dark Toblerones are darned-delicious!

For some reason, my mind read that as "Girabaldi Squares."

Which, of course, would be quite cool.

And having just watched Match Game on GSN, now I'm picturing the Babylon Squares with Kosh Naranek as the Secret Square and the lovely Susan Ivanova modeling the fur coat from Dicker & Dicker of Planet Beverly Hills.

Last year, when I tried, there was NOTHING left in the stores. =( I'm not hopeful for this year.

We usually get lucky at drugstores. If not the first one, the third or fourth. After that, we check food stores, because they're either swamped with stuff or completely empty.

this & that

Whatever is chocolate, cheap, and will fit in my cookie jar at school. It would help if it is something my students love and I am not crazy about. My chocolate of choice is Cadbury Cream eggs, but I will try to resist. I've got to get these pounds off, who's with me?

BTW I'm listening to one of your CDs right now. (Homecoming Marcon 2005) My 14-year-old son insisted that I put it into the player last night and it's been in there since. He is in love with "Aye Callisto". Although he's been to cons where you were I couldn't get him to go to a concert. He was dragged to Darkwolf69's birthday party (supposedly to baby-sit) and now he's addicted.

Cadbury Creme Eggs are definitely up there, ditto for the caramel variety. Anything chocolate, with the exception of anything made by Necco, I'm not too horribly picky.

Alternately, I'd be rather amused to see a label reading, "Serving Size: Two Ears and a Head".

And Ghirardelli squares? Oooooooh... will have to investigate.

This is where having kids comes in handy. We have enough candy to feed 10 times the children we have and we got it all for free from the kids' grandparents. ;) We didn't fill Easter baskets for them ourselves this year because time seemed to get away from me (after I spent a lot of time thinking "oh, there's plenty of time for that), and I figured our older daughter wouldn't miss it after the THREE Easter egg hunts she would go on and the TWO Easter baskets she would be getting (turned out she got three) and I was right. The younger one is 11 months old and doesn't understand Easter yet. ;)

As for my favorite, I like Reeses peanut butter eggs, but the ones that my daughter got were the white chocolate ones and, while I like white chocolate, white chocolate with peanut butter doesn't realy do anything for me.

Peeps and Dove Truffle Eggs for me (Though if I can find Russell Stover's truffle eggs you'll probably be able to hear the screams of joy from across the country.) and Cadbury Cream eggs for the hubby.

If I can find 'em, probably Hershey's sugar-free chocolate eggs, which, unlike their sugar-free chocolate bars (which sucked last time I tried one) are quite good. But alas, my local supplier for same ran out several days ago. (And partially I suspect because of me, so what the hey?)

I dont get discounted chocolate. I buy my easters stuff exclusively from Malleys. Expensive, but lawrd allmighty, it's still the best chocolate in the universe and those candybars are WORTH a dollar a pop.

And if you havent had Malleys, You dont know what chocolate is yet.

YAY for "bunny" as a unit of measurement!

I'm a big fan of the Mounds eggs, personally. And those yummy things with the stuff.

Off to munch down half a dingo of Cap'n Crunch,

My big weakness is Cadbury Mini Eggs (I swear, they roll them in crack) but they never make it to the sales. It took me a week to find the small supply that I did to make it to next year. Otherwise, I might get some malted milk eggs and maybe a dove truffle egg.
