No matter what my feelings about the system, that one of the old bright lights of the gaming industry should shut down due to embezzlement... that's just too damn much.
Exactly. This has nothing to do with liking or disliking the game -- it's a community thing. And the gaming community is just as strong as filking, as comic books, as... fandom.
I'd be glad to help 'em out, but only if they promise to stop threatening to sue people who post their own home-grown conversions online. Because, lets face it, the actual Palladium system sucks multidimensional gonads, and a D20 conversion couldn't possibly hurt.
Well, I wish them luck and all, but... The fact remains, if I wasn't willing to give them money in the past by buying their books, what would make me change my mind now?
