In theory, the darn CDs are finally, finally in transit. I actually expected to have them yesterday, but there was a production glitch, so they had to press 'em again. I might get 'em Monday; I should get 'em Wednesday. I must have them Thursday.

So you get a more accurate idea of the audio, I've put up a revised sample -- the first four songs from the album, absolute final mix, 160 Kbps MP3. Enjoy!

SUGGESTION!!! Have them ship the finished CDs directly to the hotel you're staying at in Columbus for MarCon. I have done this before, all you have to do is call the CD pressing company and tell them to do so, giving them the address of the hotel (care of your name), and they will reestimate your shipping costs, but I'd assume it wouldn't be too different a cost between shipping to Ann Arbor vs. Columbus. The only down side is that depending on the policy of the hotel, you may have to pay the hotel a holding fee of somewhere between $5 to $10 per day per package, which would suck. I am having the 2nd printing of "unCONVENTIONal" sent to the hotel I'm staying at for MarCon, and my hotel has no such fees, so if you trust me (Ferengi grin), you could ship them to my hotel care of my name, and I'll get them to you and save you some money. My fingers are crossed for you, I'm so excited for this CD! At last, IT'S BATTERING TIME!!!

I have to get the tracking number first. They were packed Thursday, but it was too late for them to go out, so they actually went out Friday. They tell me that the tracking number thus will not be in the system until Monday. Arrgh.

Ah. Well in that case I'd assume they'll get to you by Thursday in Ann Arbor. Just get that tracking number Monday and keep an eye on them online. Good luck! :)

Sounds great! Who's singing with you on that first track?

Karen Underwood (formerly Foran), playing Amazing Gracie. She also sings Princess Alishaya. Anne Schneider sings Angela (the Waffle's girlfriend) and Queen Silvonia (Alishaya's mother). Both sang with me on Plugged and Debasement Tapes.

Just bought this. (Finally had the cash.)

Very cool tracks! I love 'em and am patiently waiting for the CD. Sorry you're having shipping problems. :-(

Now how about an "Enter The Waffle..." T-Shirt?

Maybe with a picture of TLHoE on the back underneath a splot of syrup containing his battle cry...

;-)

By the end of the week, I should indeed have a Cafe Press shop up for various TLHoE goodies.
