For both Windows and Mac, CPS is now freeware.

Looking at the screenshots reminds me of the Amiga program: Bars and Pipes. Anyone else remember that one?

I sold it (worked in an Amiga store) but never actually tried it out.

Remember it? I arranged Plugged on it (along with SuperJam 1.1). You can still find Amiga versions of it, but Albert Faust's long-threatened PC conversion project seems to have stalled, and his web site has vanished completely.

Yi. Looks techie. Bars and Pipes looked friendlier.

Okay, so I'm easily spooked...

... that it looks like it could be great fun and very useful but ...

... I'm starting to get a little peeved by websites (particularly OpenSource ones) where there's little or nothing on the front page to explain what this wonderful thing might be (in this case, I did find it in the graphic at the top of the page, but otherwise if you click on the FAQ link on the right of the page asking "what is CPS" it really doesn't tell you in that particular FAQ entry ... sure, it's "cute" but I'd rather it just said in nice clear words what it is/does.)

Sorry, just a little cranky today I guess!

I absolutely comprehend. I was cruising for VSTs this morning, and I found a site which went deeply into the philosophy of their pllug-in's software engine. I still have no clue what the fucking thing did.
