Duckon Schedule

I've got a few things this weekend at Duckon:

• Friday 9:00 pm - Tom Smith Gets Serious (a set of my non-comedy songs)
• Saturday 3:00 pm - Concert, Main Stage
• Sunday 11:00 am - Flop of the Meatloaf (remakes that should/should not be done)
• Sunday 2:00 pm - Tom Smith Puns Jordin Kare

I should be at the open filks as well, likely helping out a bit during Luke's set Sunday morning, and the Dead Dog Sunday night.

I know ericcoleman isn't going to make it (and best wishes for a speedy recover to his mom). Who is?

Speaking of your non-comedy corpus: Steven Melvin, aka Lord Rathflaed LeNoir, The Black Bard of Meridies, performed your song PQR during the "Bawdy Concert" at an SCA event, the Potrero War, Sunday night of Memorial Day weekend in east San Diego County. Really new material for this audience! Most of the rest of the evening was lighthearted horny songs, this was a real change of pace. At least it was sexxxy.

I still think you do it hotter, even on CD, 2500 miles away. But that's my opinion.

Duck is the best general-interest SF con on my calendar; I won't miss it. But a serious set from you would be plenty of reason to show up if I were planning on not attending for some reason. I love your serious material and get to hear it too rarely.
