To my dad, and to all of you dads and your dads. Doing anything special for it?

This will be Morris's first Fathers Day with Sharon officially Out Of The Nest, so I'm planning on fixing him several of his favorite meals. We got gifted some Home Grown Tomatos by [livejournal.com profile] sunfell yesterday which wil materially assist with this.

Gotta pick up a card, though, on the way back from Church, along with the corn-on-the cob and whatever meat I decide on by-then.

Thank you kindly!

Was going to go fishing this morning but the weather seems to have nixed that until perhaps the afternoon.

Might go out and spike my cholesterol with a good hearty hot breakfast of dead animal flesh and fried batter. ^_^

Later on probably something simple with the family.

Gonna call my own Dad and wish him a great day, then prolly gonna treat my room-mate to a brunch since we both style him the cat's Daddy. Maybe buy him a tufty-feathery cat-toy so he can spend more quality time with his "son." ^_^

Hanging out with the 'rents. It's Tom's first Father's Day as a father. We're blaming it all on Ivy.

Driving home from Minneapolis ...

I am fairly certain that there will be some profound silliness once I get home.

Just called Dad to wish him a Happy Father's Day. He liked his present, a t-shirt with a picture of a dog & a cowboy sitting on a horse. The dog has the reins in his teeth, the cowboy is slumped over and the caption says "designated driver". Dad's very much against drunk driving, so I knew he's appreciate the humor.

Called my daughter's father trying to find out when he's flying out to see us (well, mainly her...) and I just made (er, ordered) dinner for my dad.

Steve, at the tender age of 19 months, did the following two things for Father's Day:
1. Learned to climb out of his crib
2. Threw a spatula out the window of a moving vehicle

And Kim got me a kickass card, and we went to Chili's.
