Keep in mind, this is the Christopher Reeve 1978 classic, not a spoiler for the new one.

I got my tickets for the IMAX a week from Friday, how about you? Taking my best comic-book-collecing pal from high school, his wife, nearly-8-year-old and his mother. This should be a jolly crew. Maybe I should get some sound-reducing earplugs for all but the pal and me... hehehe.

I'm not sure I'm "feeling the super" much more than you are, but I'm an old Opening Night addict since, well, May 1977. IMAX really made a major difference with BATMAN BEGINS so I expect it will for SUPERMAN RETURNS as well.

And of course, I'm already speculating on a WORLD'S FINEST teamup already. But I'm a geek, as you know.

BTW Tom: I need to pick up another copy of THE GREATEST HERO ON EARTH, since I gave my first copy to my trusty Comic Book Store Guy, who I think will like it very much. Makes a great gift!

Indeed. Superman Returns hasn't been bunnified yet. Although I think I want Goblet of Fire first.

Haven't got the IMAX tickets yet, and I should.

And, what a great idea! I'll start writing that sequel to The Last Hero On Earth right away. ;) (Sorry, couldn't help it.)

Superman Returns with Jim Lee

I'll be seeing it Friday, June 30th with comic book artist Jim Lee. Okay, "with" is a strong word. We'll both be in the same theatre watching it. He's going to be in my town of Missoula, MT doing a signing at the local comic book store Muse Comics (http://www.musecomics.com/). They rented out a whole theatre and anyone who gives a donation at the store to the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund of $10 or more gets to see the movie in the same theatre as Jim Lee and his artist friends he's bringing with him.
