There's a ton (http://www.youtube.com/results?search=the%20internet%20is%20for%20porn&sort=relevance&page=1) of these out there. Unfortunately I can't seem to find the original one I saw of this done to an anime named Chobits. It was quite good and well synced.

It was what caused me to actually buy the Avenue Q CD. :-)

It's a fabulous show, I saw it on Broadway last year. If you get a chance to see it there (or in Vegas) do it!

I think it's already closed in Vegas.

As long as it was in Vegas, that couldn't happen. They had a National exclusive licence. (That's why you -could- see it on tour in Europe)

Now, we might get to see it touring sometime in a year or two.
(depending on when that licence expires I guess).

Oh, and if you do get to see it, be sure to buy the program book. It's overpriced, but it includes a CD with a bonus track-- 'Tear it up and throw it away.' It's about getting a summons for jury duty.

I went to see it during the Republican National Convention. The line in the finale, about how George Bush is sure to go away eventually, got a laugh that I swear lasted for five minutes.

What I adore is Trekkie Monster doing that little "raise the roof" bit after the first chorus.

Although there are no puppets, this is one of the coolest interpretations of "It Sucks To Be Me" I've ever seen. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dxILB1Okv7Y&search=avenueq)

And thank you sooooo much for collecting all those different videos here!
