A number of interesting things today. A special edition of V For Vendetta, and another of A Fish Called Wanda. A collection of three of Olivier's Shakespeare films (Henry V, Hamlet, and Richard III). A Beavis and Butthead collection, if you must. Richard Pryor Live in Concert, which I'm not sure has ever been on DVD before. A box of Peter Lorre's Mr. Moto films. The online animated saga Broken Saints.

Anything need to be on your list?

Ooh, Peter Lorre... It's not The Raven, but it'll do.

You did know The Raven is out on a discount DVD (http://tinyurl.com/epqvd), doubled up with The Comedy of Terrors, right?

Indeed it was. No reason given by Sony, but apparently Sony is now taking over MGM's DVD distribution of Region 1 disks, so they may release it later... I hope in time for the holidays. It apparently has been released in the UK and Australia.

I have the original release...will hope the new isn't pushed back too far..

Though, if I had to choose between it and the first season of "A Bit of Fry and Laurie - Season One", I think I'll be going with the latter. Never having seen the Fry and Laurie show, I'm intrigued, and keep reading good things about it.

Yes, your post today had me go look at trivia for V for Vendetta, then go to IMDB, then look up what else Fry had been in. :-) Thanks!

Glad you like it. Took a while to find a good scan of Issue #1. Maybe I'll animate it some day. Ahhh... the good old days of Valiant.

Fish Called Wanda is on indefinite hold. A friend who works for a distributor has not been able to get a reason why
