Okay, something completely frivolous and fun.

That wonderful psychobabe [livejournal.com profile] cadhla decided to lyrically remix a number of Pegasus nominees. She got me twice -- one combining "Rich Fantasy Lives" with Talis Kimberly's "Archetype Cafe", and one combining "RFL" with Daniel Glasser's evil lullaby "Close Your Eyes".

That one, I just couldn't leave alone.

Update: Very slightly revised file, new file name. For some reason I'd got the wrong name stuck in my head for Dan's song. Duh-hrrr.

What is the deal with the Demons Lullabye? The kids at WorldCon would NOT let anybody stop singing this one, in the filk rooms and at the "Adventurers' Club" children's programming.

Yummy num nums.

I think this says more about children than about the song.

Exactly what it says, I don't know.

It's actually called "Close Your Eyes", and I'm not sure who all were playing it at Worldcon, but it's a mystery to me, too, and I'm the one who created it.

*sigh*

For those who have not heard the original, if you follow that link, you'll hear what it sounds like. Personally, I like this version better at the moment.

Alas, my computer - having seen the lyrics, I suppose - is protecting me from the MP3. (I often have this problem with MP3s at TSO.) Any chance this will be coming to iTom soon?

Ummm... probably not. But I'm working on Ends 'N' Odds, which I hope to have for OVFF, and I'll throw it onto that. :) Do you just time-out, or what? Because, in theory, I've got infinite high-speed bandwidth, and no restrictions on that file (or anything else in the Oddio folder).

First off, I have a wife who does things for me like downloading files at work and bringing them home. So I have heard the song, and am still marveling at how odd Seananesque lyrics sound in your voice.

As for my glitch, it just tells me that the page is done, and gives me a blank screen. I will try it again just to see what happens. My network at work is oftimes mysterious.

I can't imagine how many nightmares this would give my kids if I played it for them at bedtime.

Check with me tomorrow!

My aversion to online acronyms is well-known and heartfelt. It takes a lot to get me to use one.

ROFLMAO!!!!!

*grin* Do you remember a time when I told both you and Seanan that I absolutely had to put you two together for a game of Whose Line, and you both (individually, as you were told) looked at me blankly?

*Now* do you see why I needed to see you two play off one another?
