Yeah, and the idiot box tells people that Bush is doing a good job, so they believe. I just wish that I could think of a way to get people to start thinking for themselves, again. So much of this crap that gets presented would fall apart at the first whiff of a probing thought... but so many people have been directed and helped down the path of letting others think for them that it's an uphill fight (at best.)

I put the same thing in my LJ.

I then wrote to Mr. Olbermann and thanked him for this commentary, last week's on President Bush, and the previous one on Secretary Rumsfeld.

As someone said to me, though, we need to stop preaching to the choir and try to help make this a viral meme, almost, getting it out to people who wouldn't otherwise see it. I'm wide open to any ideas on that score. I've already sent all three commentaries to my relatives in Alabama. I'm waiting to be disowned now.
