I was expecting four Wagnerian operas in 30 seconds.

I'm sooo disappointed.

That would be astonishing, wouldn't it? I can hear the Norns in their one little spot, sonorously intoning, "Previously, on The Ring Cycle...".

What made this film - the American version, anyway - even extra super-creepy is that it was filmed in Seattle, where we live. So we knew where they were most of the time, and in many cases, had been there or around there. Plus, since it's Seattle, it had Seattle winter weather, and we were seeing it in the winter, so when we came out of the theatre to walk home, it looked exactly like the movie.

God damn that was one creepy movie.

Ok, usually I don't hook up the speakers to the work PC, but major 'Ringworm' that I am, that could not wait for me to get home ;)

Very well done by the bunny crew!

In case you're wondering why the Japanese are killing us when it comes to horror movies...

It's because unlike just about every turd that comes out of the Hollywood crap factory, directors and writers of J-horror actually assume that their audience is made up of at least marginally-intelligent adults.
