Yeah, that's probably not going to be very good.

You never know. I'm willing to give it a chance.

I will admit, the part with the knighting made me chuckle. And the trailer for the original Shrek made me assume that that would be a bad movie. So there is some room for doubt.

But right now, this comes off as even more gimmicky than Shrek 2. I mean, I almost feel like it's a preview for a soap opera episode or Rocky and Bullwinkle. "Will this happen? Can he do this? Who is he? Tune in next time to find out!"

Meh.

How can a silly movie have serious spoilers? :)

This has potential. The problem is: can it live up to that potential and the audience's expectations. I think that I will place a bet "against" this time.

I dunno...but then, I was totally convinced Shrek 2 was going to suck and it was pretty good (tho not better than the original, IMHO)

Doesn't mean I won't be seeing it, however, which I suppose is Dreamworks' prime concern...

Though I was hoping this movie would not be made, I saw enough in the preview to go when it comes out.

Proof, once again, that Hollywood, and Disney in particular, have completely lost their balls and will NOT produce anything that has not been proven to be a cash cow that they can milk for all it's worth - and then some!

This is why we have Rocky 23, Lethal Weapon 254, Alien 57 (Variety), and Batman 1,276. Don't even get me started on Superman, Dracula or the Mummy.

The bean-counters rule where once creativity was king. King Vidor, Hitch, Milies, von Stoheim and so many more are doing a 7,200 rpm subterrainean spin right about now, so watch for ANOTHER remake of Jounrey to the Center of the Earth!

Maybe as a slash flick with Romero's Zombie franchise! with them all ending up doing the Freddie on Elm Street! Now THAT'S Entertain... ESO-TERIC!!

Ummmm... not a Disney flick, Lee. DreamWorks. :) And Rocky 6, aka Rocky Balboa, opens soon, I'm afraid.

As if the average consumer can tell the difference without reading the label?

And Rocky 6 is no surprise at all...

Rocky Balboa - who fought WITH Balboa!

"Yo! Adrian! Blow gun darts!! EEuuu!" THUD!!
