That was one hell of a powerful commentary!! The wmp file had a very small glitch at the end of it, but from what they let be shown, I doubt it was censorship (well, unless he let a swear word loose by mistake :)

I wish he'd said something about everyone else who's been sacrificing because of Bush's Iraq policy, like the 600 000 or so Iraqis who have died, and all their families and friends who have lost people, which is about everyone in the country...like the Canadian, British, and other troops who have been killed in Afghanistan, picking up the slack from when the US basically abandoned their mission there and left it for their allies... Congratulations, Mr. Bush, you've truly internationalised the concept of "shared sacrifice in wartime" in a way not seen since 1939-45.

Bush doesn't listen. Bush is set on a course that is taking us right over the cliff that he pointed us at from the beginning.

He JOKES about never having said that the situation was not serious in Iraq ("It's serious, is that good enough?"). He makes SURE that the American people never SEE the burials of American military people killed over there (Uniform Code of Military Conduct prohibits the showing of United States Military casualties, living or dead, in the media) - So much for a free press.

And he pushes his agenda and his attack dogs will savage ANYONE who question HIS program as being "against the troops."

Which is patent BULLSHIT!

I am all FOR giving our troops in the field and in training ANY and EVERYTHING that they need. But I am NOT going to support sending them into harm's way on a LIE! To my way of thinking - that is the ULTIMATE FORM OF SUPPORTING OUR TROOPS! (somebody tell the Democrats, please!)

I said attacking Iraq was a BIG mistake before we even committed to go INTO Iraq and I've been saying it all along, since.

Olbermann IS the new Murrow. No two ways about it. And we NEED someone like that to take a stand and loudly oppose the madness that these assholes are perpetrating against this country.

Now, if you will excuse me, I have to prepare for yet another tax audit...
