"New" Studio Foglio Stuff -- BUCK GODOT and WHAT'S NEW?

studiofoglio has just announced new goodies. Well, okay, old goodies, but they might be new to a lot of people who've got onboard with Girl Genius. Specifically, there's a page for Buck Godot, Zap Gun For Hire, which reprints that series every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, and another page for What's New? with Phil & Dixie, the gaming-related comic that ran in The Dragon and Wizard, which updates Sundays. So now there's "new" stuff every day of the week!

If anyone knows Phil and Kaja, ask them how much cash they'd want to do a new Buck Godot and/or What's New series. Once we get a target price, we can hold fund raisers, auctions, and bake sales (with the baked goods inspired by XXXenophile art ;-)

For those of you who are...ahem...mature...Foglio has also done a string of erotica comics under the title "XXXenophile." And I do mean "erotica," not "porn." The men and women (and alien creatures) in various states of undress and lust remain PEOPLE. There is a joy in it, a celebration of humanity and life, that you don't get in pornography.

But then again, just about everything the Foglios do is a celebration of humanity.
