The way I see it, there's no way that LJ/6A can please everyone - if they try, they'll please no one. So they have to draw the best line they can and stick with it. So some people will either migrate to other journal sites or become unpaid users - oh comma well - I think LJ/6A will survive just fine.
I've been paid since the beginning. Come March, I go free. If Sex Apart wants to turn LJ into a kindergarten and treat its paying #1 customers like #2, I won't pay them to do it. It isn't asking too much that LJ warn people to take down this or that if it's extreme or clearly violating the law. LJ is too quick to use the banhammer of planetary doom when a swat with a ruler would produce much better results.
LJ doesn't have to please everyone. They have to please the people who pay the bills - namely you and I. And I am not pleased. No, I am not pleased by a long shot. And thus, I won't be paying any more bills for 6A. Let the WFI or the rumored FBI pay the electricity for awhile.
