MillenniCon and Thing
Mar. 19th, 2010 02:27 pmUsually, I would by now be ensconced in the annual wonderfulness that is MillenniCon. That is not the case this year. However, this is only a one-year lapse -- I'll be back next year. And this year, the con should rock as usual -- Christy, Ruby, Celeste, Pat, and the rest put on a great show -- and, if you're down Cincinnati way, you should give 'em a try.
I will be in Frankenmuth with Anne this weekend, hanging out with the Dorsai at their annual Thing. We'll head up there tomorrow, and it should be most excellent fun with a heapin' helpin' o' fried chicken.
What are your weekend plans?

Date: 2010-03-19 07:24 pm (UTC)Sunday, on the other hand, and pretty much every evening after that until the show's done... whoo boy. But I'm a total junkie for applause, so it'll be worthwhile in the end. =)

Date: 2010-03-19 07:57 pm (UTC)My weekend will be resting, playing Star Trek Online and City of Heroes. There's a sci-fi club party tomorrow. The parties are OK but more often than not the dominant discussion are a bunch of conservatives bashing liberals so I'm not too enthusiastic to go.
Maybe I'll work on the DucKon site some. Actually it's looking pretty good now. I just need to find some fitting graphics for the corners and track down what content I need and there ya go.

Date: 2010-03-19 10:17 pm (UTC)You know, I don't think I have any.
I do need to finish up and print out the TurboTax thing for Rob now that I finally have enough printer paper.
Basic "chores that need to be done, as they come up" weekend, I think.
After that, if there's any wind and I can't think of anything else, I'm TOTALLY flying my kite. Because it's supposed to be freakin' GORGEOUS this weekend.
