New Fan Video

I had cause to check the iTom page, and found that "marcusdowning", aka "Mr. Sadie of The Dyslexic Studeos", had created a video for "Everything Is Dangerous".

To those of you who have created vids for my music, I thank you so much. I'm flattered beyond belief. But I have to say something, and please understand I'm not slamming or anything, but... could you please make sure that the post incorporates three things?

• a reference to tomsmithonline.com
• "This song and video are released under a Creative Commons Attribution Noncommercial ShareAlike license"

I don't mean to be a jerk, but I do have to protect myself and my songs. Thanks.

Tom, you need to protect your rights to your music, and your request is not unreasonable (a copyright notice, a link to your website, and the CCA license statement? Sheesh, give them a challenge why don't you!). It is not a slam when you find something that uses your music that is missing some of this, and you have to point it out. A public reminder does not constitute a slam either. (hopefully my lack of sleep and caffine at the time I am writing this does not come off as an anti-slam)
