Doesn't seem like you'd have to. They said they wanted a video; you need not appear in it. You could get someone else to play Fenton (say, someone that resembles the original? heh...) and do the voicing/music yourself, do a cartoon (possibly as a collaboration, dunno how you do with cartoons), or even stop-motion animation if you know someone with a lot of free time. :)

(Heck, surely by now someone's created a YouTube video based on the original song; you could almost just use such a thing 'as is', with permission.)

Fenton as secret weapon isn't a baaaad idea either, but really, if Fenton doesn't deserve to be in the Evil League of Evil, who does? :)

Right now, pretty straightforward: I've got a couple of commissioned songs to finish, as well as a FuMP song for Oct. 10 and another for sometime in November. I want to get the rest of the songs for the kids' album done, and most of my next several FuMP songs will be that. There's Herbert West, the two TLHoE projects -- the spinoff, Mad Scientists' Summer Of Love, and the sequel, The Rise Of Amber D'arque -- and Girl Genius is still sitting back there. Along with Lovecraft! The Musical. And a couple of other things I'd like to get to, but that are somewhat more vague.

Not to mention any individual things I come up with, which will all be released on iTom.

He started out as kinda my version of Guy Gardner. Brawler all the way, heart of at least well-polished brass, certainly balls thereof. Strong, tough, not all that bright. Unrequited lust with Shield Maiden, who I speculate must've beaten him in arm wrestling or drunk him under the table once or just stood there breathing somewhere nearby. (She's got her own problems -- a Valkyrie warrior with a primarily defensive power. Overachiever.)
