That was excellent! I like the somewhat different take on Superman Sex Life Boogie. Also, it's *really* quiet, is there any way to up the volume on the video?
I have always loved the Badger Pajama song, and signed away merrily to it as I watched. My children think that yours are the actual words to the Klezmer (sp?) piece.
My children are also unconcerned that Piglet drowned; they have said that Piglet can come back as a Zombie. (To which I have to think as a parent must be the reason why Pooh is a bear of Very Little Brain.)

Yeah, you spelled it right.
And technically, those are two different pieces. The first part, "Heiveinu Shalom Aleichem," is actually a near-prayer. (Then again, most things are...*grin*)
The second is the old standby, "Hava Nagila." Best known for being the archetypal hora tune. (Big circles holding hands, someone getting lifted up on a chair...)
Indeed. I borrowed the slamdunk of those together like that from the Mitchell Trio -- they sang them as the intro to "We're Clean, We're Clean, The Vatican Says We're Clean" (a song with no sarcasm whatsoever honest and for true about when, in the mid-60s, the Vatican finally allowed that the Jews did not kill Jesus).
Since I have no idea when I may ever get to see you perform live, at least I get to see this! :) I've listened to you for years and seen your photo, but I've never gotten to watch you before!
There are some of my performances up on YouTube (search for user "filkertom"). I hope at some point over the next year to record a concert DVD, with judifilksign doing the ASL.
I also didn't make it into the program book, except for Uncle Kage mentioned me in his Welcome To The Con intro. 'Salright. I'm booked for next year, but determined to make it back for 2010.
That reminds me, Windycon is next weekend. You're still coming right? Is it too soon to make requests? I'd like to hear "I want to be Peter Lorie" and with the election behind us I think "For Us All" would be fitting.
