Here in way-too-freakin-sunny Ann Arbor, it's 89° (heading toward 95°) with 67% humidity; it feels as if it's 101°. It's like that in a lot of places today. (Strangely enough, according to friends on FB, not in most of Texas. Go fig.) It's going to be like that most of the week. The lows are in the 70s.

If you happen to be in one of those places, please keep yourself hydrated, stay in the air conditioning as much as you can, eat light meals with protein, keep yourself hydrated, don't leave pets or kids in the car -- did I mention keeping yourself hydrated? This is killing weather.

How is it where you are, and how are you dealing with it?

I live in MO and it's about the same here. I'm staying in, doing some art and some writing. We made a huge jug of tea and, between my husband and I, we've finished most of it. Barley tea from Japan. Yum.

Funny, I've never been much of a tea drinker. Although I keep meaning to ask the nice lady at Gourmet Garden (my favorite Chinese restaurant in Ann Arbor) what brand of tea they use. That, I love.

Nope, not really. Just not a big fan of the taste.

If you don't like ice tea, are you using Lipton? It's not good tea, I don't care what the commercials say. I use this barley tea I get from J-list. It's very good. Or just brew a tea you like extra strong then ice it.

As to the tea at that restaurant, Google Chinese Restaurant Tea, you'll find something good. Just make sure you get it from a good source. (Most restaurant tea is either jasmine oolong, or black jasmine. Good luck)
