DVD Day

Heavy day today. Lots of season sets people might be interested in -- Smallville, Family Guy, Married With Children, Upright Cittizens Brigade, Stargate Atlantis, Boston Legal, several more; a number of anniversary editions, from Deliverance to Wall Street; the complete series of Josie and the Pussycats; yet more versions of Troy. But my own radar has a couple of particular hits:

• Jekyll, an acclaimed over-the-top British miniseries from the current producer of Doctor Who
• The Johnny Cash Show: The Best of Johnny Cash, 1969-1971
• a two-disk special edition of Death Proof, one-half of Grindhouse
• Superman: Doomsday, the animated movie of the Death Of Superman sequence
• a Criterion Collection of a hunk of my childhood, Robinson Crusoe On Mars

Boy, step away for six or seven hours and all kindsa kewl stuff happens. First, jss1113 notes this excellent B5 music video. The only complaint I have is that I wish it was the album cut rather than the single.
