Got home about 10:00 p.m. last night after a long and mostly pleasant driving day. I will report on the rest of ConTata later, but short form: amazingly fun. Great time, new friends, much love for older friends, really good steak. More detail later. Today, I have to go to the store, do laundry, and -- oh yeah -- sleep. A lot.

Game Deals At Direct2Drive and Big Fish

Direct2Drive is having a month-long sale with different deals every day. Today's deals include Assassin's Creed 2, PC or Mac versions, for $7.95, Dragon Age: Origins for the PC for $11.95, and The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion - Game Of The Year Deluxe Edition (with all the official DLC) for the PC for $8.25.

Also, last week I used up two long-hoarded credits at Big Fish to get a couple of inexpensive winners: Herofy, a match-3 game with both puzzle and RPG elements, and Musaic Box, a music puzzle game nestled comfortably in a hidden object game. Both lots of fun.
