Now this is a graphics remix: "What If Male Superheroes Posed Like Wonder Woman On The David Finch Justice League Cover?"

Who's your favorite female hero, and why? I think I'm always going to have something for both Shadowcat and Catwoman -- not the feline aspect, but the "I'm gonna be pretty much myself, in costume or not" aspect.

This weekend I'm missing two conventions I wish I could attend: MuseCon in Chicago and GenCon in Indianapolis. I hope everyone there is having a great time, and I especially wish many, many happies to our own Eric Coleman and Lizzie Crowe, who are celebrating their wedding this weekend at MuseCon! Mwah!

So, I'll be home, working on music that really needs to be finished. Howzabout you?

First, [personal profile] huskiebear made sure I saw this, and now I pass it on to you:

And I showed you that so you could read this.

Every time I hear anything that moron says, my brain leaps into full G&S mode:
There's a gasbag called Sean Hannity,
Who is paid to spew inanity.
It'll drive you to insanity,
And I weep for all humanity....

Steve Benen, with a nod to Joe Klein at Time, reminds us why our moneyed masters really suck:
... S&P prepared an analysis to justify a specific conclusion. The analysis was off by $2 trillion. Treasury explained to S&P that the analysis wasn’t even close to being accurate, which led the ratings agency to concede they’d made a mistake.

And a few hours later, S&P decided to reach the same conclusion anyway. The agency wanted to proceed with a downgrade; whether its numbers added up was irrelevant.

That certainly inspires confidence in the integrity of Standard & Poor’s decision making, doesn’t it?
All that these ratbastards obsess about is getting a high score. Unfortunately, their little game affects our very existence.
