filkertom... who says Barack Obama is indulging in "Kenyan, anti-colonialist behavior".
I understand Mr. Gingrich is, to this day, considered an intellectual giant of the conservative movement. I have never been able to fathom how. All of his behavior seems to be typically self-serving, filled with lies, fear-mongering, and a smarmy certainty that he will not be called on his bullshit.
By comparison, Pat Buchanan is honest.

Guys like him are one reason that I am not a conservative (the second big one is that they support both Imperialist wars and Corporatist Culture).
I fully expect him to, once again, confuse the anti-Democratic landslide in November with a Republican mandate (the same way that the more liberal Democrats mistook the election of Obama as President for a Democratic one).
By not realizing that the present economic crisis is not due to Republicans or Democrats, but due to our economic theorists neglecting the role of private debt in calculations of GDP, the Republicans like Newt will overreach and set the stage for a Hillary presidency in 2012.

After all, they confused 2008's PRO-Democratic landslide with a Republican mandate; of course they'll capitulate when they once again have someone in DC to capitulate to.
