from Costco on my way home from work. watched it with Whedon's commentary, since I didn't want to get sucked into the emotional roller-coaster right then (and I've seen it multiple times in the theaters plus read the scriptbook and novelization). Somewhat disappointing; I wanted more from Joss about the characters and world and story than about the lighting and technical hoo-hah. I'd love it if somebody could get the cast together for another commentary track, even just an unofficial one.
Watched many of the bonus features. Cut scenes were nice, but I can see why they all got cut. Bloopers were funny, particularly Mal's instructions on Haven, which we had to rewind and replay. Also nice, they provide captioning on the DVD extras -- most DVDs I've bought only have it for the feature.
Got it last night
