This actually bugs me a bit, because it's bringing Twilight into the spotlight again instead of letting it die the deserved death of the flash in the pan. It's actually severely multiplied the amount of Twilight mentions in my newsfeeds and flist, which is honestly not something I'm particularly thrilled about.
Why is Twilight even being mentioned in the same breath as decades-long SFF staples? Why should fans of the latter even have the former show up on their radar? It makes as much sense as two pedigree dog kennels being encouraged to go beat up a brain-damaged Chihuahua.
