MySpace Highlight: Amy Rigby

I've been having a lot of fun with my MySpace page, and also browsing friends' lists, which I presume is everybody else's big thing to do. I'm finding some of my old favorites online, and discovering new and cool music. So I thought it might be fun to highlight someone now and then.

Today, I'd like to point out Amy Rigby. Lotsa Guys Suck songs, but musically solid and lyrically clever and bouncy and way more fun than it likely should be.

So, anybody you've discovered on MySpace you feel like sharing with the class? :)

I do tend to agree with John at AmericaBlog on this one -- it's an attempt to appeal to moderate swing voters just before the election. Of course, it involves alienating their base, so tactically it may not be so bright.

iTom Podcasts

I'm trying to figure out podcasting the iTom MP3s directly without screwing up the Feedburner feed -- they've got two different mechanisms, SmartCast and SmartFeed, which don't work together. I may end up submitting stuff to podcasting sites manually. In any case, I've started with PodSafe and Podcast Alley. Please do let me know if you actually find me there.
